Truck driver Needed In Canada By Sidhu Quickhaul Ltd.

As a truck driver on a farm, your primary responsibility is to transport goods, equipment, and materials to and from the farm. You play a crucial role in supporting agricultural operations by ensuring timely delivery and pickup of farm products, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transportation and Delivery:
    • Safely operate trucks to transport agricultural products, including crops, livestock, and farm supplies, to designated locations.
    • Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure product integrity.
  2. Logistics Support:
    • Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
    • Coordinate with farm managers and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  3. Vehicle Maintenance:
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure roadworthiness.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes, and report any issues to maintenance staff.
  4. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices, bills of lading, and delivery logs.
    • Adhere to regulatory and safety requirements for transportation and handling of agricultural products and hazardous materials.
  5. Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating trucks.
    • Adhere to farm-specific protocols for handling and transporting agricultural products, chemicals, and equipment.
