Truck driver Needed in Canada By L.S. Carriers
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Inspect and maintain the truck before and after each trip, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo as needed.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and maintenance.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members for smooth operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including securing loads and checking for hazardous conditions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous truck driving experience preferred.
- License: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy cargo and handle long driving hours.
- Skills: Strong navigation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
Tasks
- Load and unload goods
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Experience and specialization
Documentation knowledge
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
