Digital advertising specialist Needed in Canada By Powerlink Electrical Ltd 

As a digital advertising specialist, your primary responsibility is to plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various online platforms. You will leverage digital marketing tools and strategies to drive traffic, generate leads, and increase conversions for the organization or clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop digital advertising strategies aligned with business goals, target audience, and budget constraints.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends in digital advertising.
  2. Ad Creation and Optimization:
    • Create compelling and effective digital ads, including text, image, and video formats, tailored for different platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
    • Optimize ad campaigns continuously by testing different creatives, targeting options, and bidding strategies to improve performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA).
  3. Campaign Management:
    • Set up and launch digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring proper targeting, budget allocation, and scheduling.
    • Monitor campaign performance in real-time, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and achieve KPIs.
  4. Audience Targeting and Segmentation:
    • Define and refine target audience segments based on demographics, behaviors, and interests using audience targeting tools.
    • Implement retargeting strategies to engage users who have previously interacted with the brand or visited the website.
  5. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Generate regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
    • Use analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track conversions, attribution, and ROI of digital advertising efforts.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, creative, sales) and external partners (e.g., agencies, vendors) to align digital advertising strategies with overall marketing initiatives.
    • Communicate campaign results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • Gather, research and prepare communications material
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media

  • Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
  • Design market research questionnaires
  • Develop portfolio of marketing materials
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments
  • Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions
  • Develop marketing strategies
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
  • Maintain and manage digital database
  • Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a digital advertising specialist or in a similar role, with expertise in managing paid search, display advertising, and social media advertising campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads) and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset to interpret campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop effective ad creatives and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present findings and recommendations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications in digital marketing and advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads Certification, Facebook Blueprint Certification) are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing agencies or in-house marketing teams managing digital advertising campaigns.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in an office environment, often with flexible hours to monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Remote work options may be available, depending on the employer or client’s policies.
  • Occasional travel for meetings, conferences, or client visits may be required.
