Grain farm worker Needed in Canada by A. W. Ingram Farm Ltd.

We are looking for a dedicated Grain Farm Worker to assist with the planting, maintenance, and harvesting of grain crops. The ideal candidate will operate farm machinery, handle grain storage, and ensure efficient farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting grain crops (e.g., wheat, corn, barley, soybeans).
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, combines, and seeders.
  • Load, transport, and store harvested grain properly.
  • Monitor crop health and report any signs of disease, pests, or weather damage.
  • Assist with irrigation, fertilization, and soil preparation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and tools.
  • Follow safety regulations and farm procedures.
  • Keep records of crop yields, equipment maintenance, and field conditions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior grain farming experience is an advantage but not required.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work long hours in various weather conditions.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of farm machinery, irrigation systems, and grain storage techniques.
  • Work Ethic: Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Education: No formal education required; training will be provided.
  • License: A valid driver’s license or farm equipment operation certification is a plus.
